Wizz Air flies a young fleet of 13 Airbus A320s. Based on the current fleet development plan, the fleet should consist of up to 53 aircraft by 2012. Wizz Air offers flights from Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia and Romania to 48 European destinations on over 90 routes. Wizz Air carried over 3 million passengers in 2006. For our Katowice base we are now seeking a colleague to join our Wizz Air Team asTechnical Liaison EngineerYour tasks:- Ensure that all maintenance carried out on the Wizz Air fleet is completed in accordance with all regulatory requirements and company procedures and standards.- Monitoring of technical status of aircraft fleet on a day to day basis- Coordination of defect rectification with Contracted Maintenance Provider- Coordination of other maintenance related functions with ground handling contractors (eg aircraft washing)- Oversight of hangar and stores facilities- Provision of engineering/technical advice to flight/cabin crew- Maintain/update local Technical Library- Assist in coordination of downroute maintenance support- Provision of any local passes,  permits and authorizations to ensure the smooth running of maintenance operations within Poland- Monitoring of Contracted Maintenance Provider's performance of contractual obligations.Our requirements: - Relevant engineering degree and/or EASA/JAR-66 qualified - Five years relevant work experience of which two years should be from the aviation industry in an appropriate position- B1/B2 approval on A320 family aircraft is desirable.  Completion of an ATA 104 Level III training course on A320 family aircraft is essential- Previous experience within a JAR-OPS 1 approved organization and familiarity with EASA Part M requirements driver's license- Fluent English essential, fluent Polish desirable   To apply, please, send your CV in English with a photo until 15th October 2007 the latest.toanna.kozakowska@wizzair.com
