Our client, a renowned Belgian electronic company manufacturing components for medical devices and military equipment, is seeking candidates for the position:Repair Technician/Electronic EngineerReference Number: TE/B/10Location: BelgiumThis position is responsible for:

repairing electronic appliances using data from construction tests, detecting defects using information from analyses of diagnostic testing systems, plans, systems and tools for detecting and eliminating defects, co-operating with an engineer/tester responsible for development, maintaining quality and BGA modifications, replacing anomalous or defective components in compliance with procedures and service manual, ordering components from warehouses, cleaning and inspecting soldered joints, loading data on defects and their causes, preparing reports for the manager, separating defective materials in the inspection store-room

Requirements:

higher education relevant to the position (electronic engineering or related fields), related professional experience, very good command of a foreign language: English, German or French, knowledge of material joining techniques (soldering), knowledge of electronic digital and analogue components, effective reading of plans, knowledge of measurement techniques, effective using of appliances for detection and elimination of defects, knowledge of interconnection technology, ERP system and testing systems operation, fast analyzing and diagnosing of operational problems,• precision at work,
