At Philips, you'll touch lives every day.Mechanical Engineer / Product Architecture Engineer- Lighting - Philips France / Miribel(Job ID: 47731)As a Mechanical Engineer in Innovation Centre at Philips Lighting Luminaires you will coordinate and lead a technical team for pre-development and development projects, define product concepts and architecture of luminaires according cost/planning/ quality objectives and product constraints as well as assess and ensure follow up of technical risks. Working at Philips France you will design and provide a conception of product components using several technologies (such as die casting, injection, forming) and different materials (aluminium, plastics, metal sheets). Your responsibilities will also include: initialisation and management of technical relationships with suppliers until product release and support in industrialization phase: components release, industrial set up, qualification tests evaluation.These tasks require Technical University degree (preferably in mechanics), minimum 5 years of experience in development and design of products in the field of electrical, electronics, domestic appliances or related. Experience on a similar position within international business environment will be an attitude. For this position you should have an experience in managing technical project, knowledge on the field of materials engineering, functional analysis and tolerances analysis. Good knowledge of AutoCAD and very good English is a must.
